The Goa Heritage Action Group is a registered
non-government organisation dedicated to the
preservation of Goa’s priceless heritage. The Group
has the Goa Heritage Festival, Fontain has Festival of
the Arts, listing of heritage properties and sites in Goa
and the restoration of Betim Cross, the Tonca Pillar
and markers in Old Goa to its credit since its formation
in September 2000. The Group now has 17 Annual
Members, 37 Life Members and 11 Patron Members
The Group is funded by donations from public and
private bodies.
